Hard
Angle Construction |
|
Multi-Wall Hard Angle is a very rigid and strong packaging product manufactured by laminating
layers of solid fiber chipboard in a 90 degree shape. By increasing ply thickness, Hard Angle
provides a product easily tailored from lightweight to very heavy duty
applications. |

Applications |
|
Hard Angles are ideal for increasing stacking strength when placed vertically on edges of a
product or in the inside corners of a carton. Hard Angles can reduce the need for corrugated
cartons when used vertically in the corners of a product with top and bottom corrugated trays -
forming what is termed a "cartonless pack" or a "stretch
pack".
Typical length applications for Hard Angles are: |
|
·
Short-length pieces used as strap protectors to prevent
steel or plastic strapping from cutting
·
into your product.
·
Longer-length pieces used both horizontally and vertically
in palletizing, providing durable
·
edge protection while
facilitating load unitization. |
